– It´s completely Independent on any other factors (which channel I use, guitar model, loud, quiet, other settings – no matter what) – If you test this with an acoustic guitar (checked out 3 different models) it´s reproduceable after a couple of min. – If you just use a Microphone it takes around an hour until the crackling noise Shows up Plugging out this u-Track-X32-Card from my x32-Rack-Mixer and plugging it into my x32-Producer never created any Issues no matter what settings I used. Switching to 44.1 kHz during recording never shows any Issues. Stop recording by pushing the button on the u-Track and listen to the recording I immediately get the crackling noise. If I plug in my Kemper Amp (nothing else) with 48kHz, record on the USB stick by pushing the button on the u-track, Got it back after 8 weeks, but nothing changed. So I sent my x32-Rack Mixer with the u-Track-x32 plugged into x32-Rack-Mixer for repair to Behringer. Again: if there’s something else I can help with, just let me know. – Disconnecting the whole console from power, waiting a couple of minutes and turning everything back on again *does* get rid of the crackling. – Switching back to 48 kHz (even after a couple of minutes operating at 44.1kHz) immediately brings back the crackling. – Switching to 44.1 kHz gets rid of the issue. – Turning the console off and on after this does *not* get rid of the crackling. The computer, which was still connected that whole time, got audio again - but this time *with* the crackling. I let it record to the hard drive for about 2 minutes, then stopped the recording by holding the record button a couple of seconds. Waited for the light to turn green, and pressed the physical record button on the uTrack-x32. – With the console still on 48 kHz and the computer still connected, I connected an external USB hard drive (WD Elements).

So only using it as USB interface seems to work fine. It’s doing this for the last hour straight without an issue. – Turned on the console, it started in 48 kHz and the uTrack sends audio to the computer *without* crackling. – After building the uTrack-x32 back into the x32-Rack again, I immediately connected it to the computer via USB. Ok, the behaviour seems a bit tricky to reproduce, so here’s my “what I did” log: Do you able to use with the same setup the standard X-UF or X-USB card on both two sample rate with no problems? Do you have that problem on 48kHz only and never happens on 44.1?ģ. Firmware version on the uTrackx-32 and the firmware version on the Behringer consoleĢ.

Guys please provide me the following details:ġ. My friend played around a bit and switched from 48kHz to 44.1kHz and the crackling Noise was gone.įazit: Currently the Issue only shows up on a Behringer x32-RACK Mixer with uTrack x32 Card running on 48kHz. So we took the Card and plugged it into my x32 Producer – Mixer, recorded for 3 hours and found everything OK. Update: A friend of mine bought a Behringer x32-Rack-Mixer + the Cymaticaudio – uTrack x32 Card and immediately got the same Problem – “Crackling Noise” after a couple of min.

#Behringer x32 usb card problem update#
Here was may post (in german) in a X32 Froum… I will translate it. I just found out, that it disappeared with 44,1khz settings instead of 48khz
